Australian Christian Churches (ACC), is a coalition of charismatic and contemporary churches committed to communicating Christianity within Australian society through social action, community care, contemporary worship and relevant preaching.
Client Problem
When ACC were to have their national conference at the Melbourne Concert Hall in May 2001 with 2500 delegates in attendance, they sought to avoid the usual conference registration and management problems and costs.
RA Solution
RA sought to tap into their existing database and provide an on-line registration system which minimised labour costs and increased ease of use for the delegates. The solution, RA Event, is a web based system that allowed the ACC to manage both their delegates and the administration of the event.
Outcome
The 2001 ACC conference at the Melbourne Concert Hall was hailed as the best national conference that the ACC has ever had with special acclaim being given to the RA Event. The ease of use and efficiency of registrations were major benefits. These sentiments were supported when the Melbourne Concert Hall nominated this conference and subsequently won the MIAA “2001 Best event for venues without accommodation” for Victoria.
